Canoeing, Kayaking and Packrafting
Surrounded by hundreds of lakes, streams and rivers, our camp is ideally situated to serve as your base camp for your paddling adventure.
Choose a wilderness canoe or kayak experience on the Morice River, where you are sure to spot plenty of wildlife as you travel silently downstream. Or canoe in the peaceful serenity of a wilderness lake from one of our remote camps.
You may also decide to try a popular multi-day canoe route in the area, such as the Nanika-Kidprice circuit. This route passes through four lakes, and depending on personal schedule and speed this journey takes about three days. The trip is a spectacular way to experience beautiful sunsets and sunrises, wilderness camping, and get a glimpse of wildlife such as moose, bears or loons. The trip's highlight is Nanika Falls, at the mouth of the Nanika River. This route is suitable for beginner and expert paddlers, though portaging is required for short distances between lakes.
