Our area has many hiking trails, ranging from leisurely strolls around nearby lakes to more strenuous hikes and overnight backpack trips in the northern B.C. wilderness. From our base camp we can help you plan a hike suited to your ability, time and interests, and provide you with lunch or provisions for a day or more.
On Nadina Mountain is found the Berkey-Howe Union Spire. The spire is a free-standing granite pillar located at the head of the large cirque on the north-east exposure of Nadina Mountain. Formations like this are very rare in granite. The spire is approximately 40 m tall, and the summit is an exposed 2m x 2m platform. Nearby is Owen Hat, a popular rock climbing and bouldering destination. Owen Hat is an ancient volcanic plug located near the Tekaiziyis Ridge. This site offers a nice place to spend the afternoon to have a picnic or hike up the trail to tackle the vertigo-inducing cliff face.
