We offer an eight-day mountain goat hunt in the remote mountainous area of our exclusive guiding territories. Our mountains here have little hunting pressure and our goat hunts enjoy a high success rate. The season starts in mid-August and goes until late-February in some areas. As the mountain nights become colder the goats’ winter coats grow longer, making for high quality coats. In cooperation with Skeena Mountain Outfitters, we have access to 1.4 million acres of combined hunting area. This region of British Columbia is well-known for producing record book billies. We use 4×4, quads, or horses to reach a spike camp, then use our established trails to hike to tree-line and beyond.
Hunt fees are US dollars, and do not include licenses, tags, gratuities, wildlife conservation fee ($250), government harvest royalty ($150), GST taxes (5%), meat processing, or transportation of meat and hides home. Non-resident hunting license is $180; Mountain Goat tag $350. All licenses and miscellaneous fees are estimates and quoted in Canadian dollars.
