The territories encompass numerous pristine lakes, major river systems, and remote mountain wilderness, providing prime moose habitat. With our partner outfit, Skeena Mountain Outfitters, we have access to 1.5 million acres of combined hunting area. Hunts can be tailored for any age, ability and preference: early season spot and stalk, calling during the rut, or late season migration hunts. They can take place from our comfortable lodge and using 4x4s, or from our remote camps using 4×4, Argo, and/or boat for a true wilderness adventure.
We are well equipped to take care of the meat you have harvested. If you have driven up you can take all your meat back with you. If you have flown it is usually not feasible to take all of your meat home with you, but you can take the best cuts back with you on the plane in a cooler as extra baggage. Any meat left with us will be donated to the Meat Donation Program of the Guide Outfitters Association of British Columbia or to a local food bank.
We have a walk-in cooler to hang your meat until you are ready to head home or to take it to a local butcher to be processed.
Our large territory has a variety of habitat and some of the highest moose populations in British Columbia. We use our trails and old logging roads to access remote swamps and lakes in addition to mountain valleys favored by transiting moose. This combination of habitat makes for an affordable moose hunt for meat bulls in the medium-trophy class.
We get the meat out cleanly and use our new walk-in chiller to to hang the meat to give you time to decide whether to use a local butcher or transport the meat home in the back of your truck. Note, however, that moose meat must be deboned or processed by a butcher before you depart.
Seasons permitting, we also offer mule deer, elk, black bear, lynx and wolf hunts as an add-on using a trophy-fee basis. After a successful moose hunt clients can also hunt grouse (upland bird license required) or obtain a non-resident angling license for self-guided fishing on a few of our lakes and world-class rivers.
Hunt prices shown below are quoted in US dollars. Hunt prices do not include (quoted in Canadian dollars) your non-resident license ($189), moose tag ($262), wildlife conservation fee ($250), government harvest royalty ($125), and GST taxes (5% of hunt price), and gratuities for staff (15% is typical in the industry). All licenses, tags and fees must be paid well prior to your arrival in camp so we can obtain them for you before you arrive. Local meat processing is not included but we can make arrangements for you with some excellent local butchers. Transportation of your meat and racks home are also your responsibility.
